Toronto Rediscovered visually documents my return to Toronto and rediscovery of some of my favourite places around the city. Five months after a global pandemic changed the world as we know it, I make the journey back to my home away from home to reconnect with the city. From the unusual quiet and eerie emptiness of iconic locations to the advertisements urging all to wear a mask, it is clear the city has changed. However, the more of the city I explore, from the striking graffiti to the energetic streets of Kensington, the more familiar it all becomes. One thing is clear, not even a global pandemic can extinguish the vibrant, chaotic and exciting experience of being in Toronto.
